My Catering Group is a locally owned hospitality company operating cafés in some of Canada’s most renowned cultural institutions, including the Canadian Museum of History, Canadian War Museum, and Canadian Museum of Nature. We focus on thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and creating welcoming spaces for both our guests and our team.
Position: Line Cook (Bilingual in French and English Required)
We are seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, Quebec. This is a hands-on role in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where consistency, teamwork, and attention to detail are key. If you take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a strong, collaborative team, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain clean, organized workstations
- Work the line and prepare menu items to spec
- Maintain par levels to support smooth, efficient service
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
- Assist with prep for café service, events, and internal catering
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely, high-quality execution
Qualifications
- Must be fully bilingual in French and English (required)
- Available to work weekends and holidays (required)
- A strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
- Ability to stay organized and perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Experience in a similar kitchen role
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
