Job Summary La Belle et La Boeuf Burger Bar is a well established restaurant that is part of the foodtastic restaurant group, our location has been in business in the Gatineau for over 7.5 years now, we are a up beat concept burger bar with a diverse menu and some of the most unique hand crafted burgers in town. We are looking for full time or part time line cooks with min 1 year experience to join our team in Gatineau ,we are a busy scratch kitchen restaurant with a beautiful large new,well designed and well organized kitchen. Job Duties

  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Prep and stock your section when needed
  • Make sure to serve Hot and fresh food in service
  • Respect your team mates and the restaurant

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy hours
  • Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines is a plus
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and basic maintenance skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and assist with other kitchen duties as required

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
