Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and connecting customers with the products that enhance their lives? Best Buy Canada is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Retail Sales Professional to join our team in Gatineau. In this full-time, commission-based role, you will be a key player in our store, providing expert advice, demonstrating products, and building lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers in a friendly, professional, and consultative manner.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions (e.g., electronics, services, accessories).
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products, promotions, and store services.
  • Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness.
  • Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a retail sales environment, preferably with commission-based targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort with POS systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling consumer electronics or related technology products.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a strong asset for the Gatineau location.
  • Post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
